A judge has granted Tiger Woods permission to travel outside the United States to receive treatment at an international inpatient facility. This decision comes just days after the golf legend was arrested on suspicion of DUI following a car crash in Florida.

Judge Darren Steele approved the motion after a teleconference with Woods' legal team and prosecutors. Woods' attorney argued the move was a medical necessity, stating the required level of care could not be provided securely within the U.S. due to privacy concerns.

Woods has pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor DUI charges. In a public statement, he acknowledged the seriousness of his situation and said he is stepping away to focus on his health and recovery.

According to the arrest report, Woods was found with prescription pills at the scene and showed multiple signs of impairment. This incident adds to a series of legal and personal challenges for the 15-time major champion in recent years.
