“That was a tough one, obviously,” Suzuki remarked to the press. “Before the nets were down the line, that ball bounces into the stands and it's two bases. But we just challenged, we thought maybe it might have hit a fan and it didn't.”

The momentum continued as Mookie Betts followed up with a home run, and Ohtani later contributed a three-run double. Overall, Ohtani finished the game 2-for-4 with five RBIs. This performance marks a significant turnaround for the star, who has been working to overcome a challenging start to May.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts expressed optimism regarding Ohtani’s recent adjustments: “We were hoping to get a reset with a couple days off, and I think that’s what happened.
